It is very important to measure the space. You need to measure the shower tray while buying. Your bathroom’s space and your shower floor measurement must be taken carefully. Your washroom’s space decided if you will be taking the standard size pan or any special size pan.

You can follow manufacturer’s guideline to fit the drain hardware. After doing this level the pan by using wood shims and carpenter’s level. If it is leveled then note where the studs and top of the pan assembly.
Thereafter attach the pan to the studs and be careful while doing this. If it is over tightening, it may cause to crack the pan. Then check the all remaining holes and use silicone bath caulk to seal the holes and make it non-porous. Again check that all the components are properly fitted and there are no holes or leakages present.
